Android AppDictions App Review:
Dungeon Defenders has to be one of the best looking and fullest games I have ever seen for Android. It combines 3D action RPG with Tower Defence, all with absolutely groundbreaking visuals. The aim is to defend a crystal from a hoard of monsters by building a variety of towers (which shoot at enemies, if you’re unfamiliar with Tower Defence Games) as well as running around using your created character to physically attack enemies – that’s right, there are customisable characters which add a lot of replay value to the game. Other useful features include a map overlay so you can easily tell where you are and where there are weak-points in your defence, plenty of weapons to collect and a ‘locator’ button which, when pressed, gives you a visual indication of where your character is.

Dungeon Defenders makes to be an extremely polished game, meaning it requires a pretty high-spec device, which is my only gripe with it (even my first tablet refused to run it) but I suppose it can’t really be helped.

I highly recommend this game, but only buy it if you have a high-end device (you can look at a list of supported devices on the market).

“The best co-op action rpg with strategic and in-depth defense play! 37/40(Platinum)”

“A whole lot of World of Warcraft aesthetics, plus stats. Lots of stats. Loot. Leveling. Money. Mana. Getting the picture? I kinda love Dungeon Defenders and it’s blending of role-playing game with tower defense.”

“At just US$2.99 for the universal app, it’s a really excellent title. For the right gamer who’s ready to conquer the heady mix of various game genres, Dungeon Defenders: First Wave could be extremely rewarding. It’s a great game, and for the right player, it might be one of the best games on iOS of the year.”

Take on the role of one of four distinct Hero classes, and battle hordes of invading creatures by strategically summoning a variety of Towers & Traps throughout your Castle. All of this can be played in seamless online GameCenter multiplayer, as you cooperate and compete throughout the Campaign & Challenge Missions to build the strongest heroes and achieve the highest scores in the online kingdom.
