Record Every Moment in Your Life with NoteLedge Android App

NoteLedge is a note taking app for Android based of the popular app for iPad of the same name. With similar features and an equally intuitive user interface as its big brother, this app provides all the tools you need to easily write down and edit notes on your Android device without having to lift a pen or paper.

The simple user interface can be used to take notes in a variety of formats whether it’s in your own hand writing or imported from a media file. To begin taking notes all you have to do is open the app and use the various on screen buttons to insert content, there’s no registration required or complicated tutorials to sit through.

You can insert videos, audio, text, and pictures into the notepad by simply tapping on the icons on the left on the screen. To handwrite your own text or draw pictures on screen there is a brush option that can be used to pick different brush sizes to paint onto the canvas and select the colors to apply with each brush stroke.

Once saved, notes show up on a wooden iBooks-like shelf that displays previews of the note, title, and creation date. The user interface is well designed and notes can also be synced via your Dropbox or Google Drive account which makes this a convenient app if you need to access files on the go.

While this app may not be as refined and as responsive as the iPad version, it still provides a decent amount of tools to record notes on your Android device. NoteLedge costs $1.99 from Google Play and requires Android OS 3.0 or above.
